That looks like a damn nice truck... Price doesnt seem too bad... how many miles?

Only downside imo is the v6... but I guess if your going for mpg its fine... Ive driven one of those with a 3.9 auto and it was kinda slow... maybe the 5 speed would help... Id say get it...

135,000 is the mileage......I know a little steep

But I'm hoping they will take my truck on a trade and call it even

Well I have not looked at it yet, but hopefully I can lower the price a little by finding little things wrong with it

Do the 3.9's have the dreaded Plenum gasket problem? Because I could definitely knock a few hundred bucks of the price with that

Ya know, i was considering getting a 4x4 dakota ext cab. with the 3.9. my dad has a 3.9 with an upgrade muffler and that thing will beat my 5.9 ram. but I have a lot of little problems leading up to a big not-performing-as-well-as-it-can problem

Yes the 3.9 has the same style of intake with the plenum gasket.
I am not a fan of the 3.9 at all. The fuel economydifference between the 3.9 and the 5.2 is very small.
You might see a small increase due to the Dakota being lighter and a 2wd but I don't think will be much.

The Dakota is veryhard on ball joints make sure you get them checked

http://www.fueleconomy.gov

Rates it at 14 city 20 Hwy
So maybe you'll actually get 12 and 17

It's a nice lookin truck but if fuel economy is your primary concern your probably better off (and I hate to say it) with an import
