Don't put the transmission in neutral when shifting through the transfer case gears

Ya know I might drive mine different then some ppl.. I just reach over and kick it in 4wheel with my foot.. j/k
Really.. If I need 4wheel lowdrive I stop and put it in low... 4 high will go in smooth while moving.. but low will grind ..because you are most likely goingto fast for the rpm and gear ratio to match and slip in.and low is low..lol

Most of the guys on here suggest turning the truck off putting it into 4LO then starting back up. Just about all of them grind going into 4LO...if you have an auto.

Yeah, that's what I read back when I got my Ram...I had the same question. So I just started cuttin er off...most of the time. If I am completely stopped, sometimes it'll do okay if I shift it in fast.
