Default Transmission pan

Anyone have a lead on a place where i can pick up a tranny pan; looking to get a stock replacement but a alluminum pan would be nice too even if i have to get a larger capacity version. everywhere i have looked online list one but under the part's description it says its for a ford or GM turbo something or other.

well hopefully i can get one soon dropping the pan this week end and would like to get rid of the rusty one. Also have(NEEED) to get an oil pan see if i can find that now

Thanks
Mike

I have an aftermarket aluminum pan from a Chrysler 727 tranny that has the same pan pattern as our 46re/rh trannies. However, to make it fit the internal fins need ground out. Once that is done, it'll fit without an issue. It is the same depth as stock so no additional capacity will be obtained. I paid well over $125 for it from www.thepartsbin.com, but before I could finish the grind out I had to replace my tranny so now have the Hughes Deep Pan that holds 4 extra quarts. PMme an offer if your interested. It shouldn't cost too much to ship UPS. You will have to buy a new gasket though.
