Default Cam/valve spring question?

Hey,i need some info on this...I bought a set of new heads for my ram from hughes i got them to put springs in it for the cam i was buying but after a week after i ordered and payed for the cam i got a phone call that the cam is on back order from comp and it could be 1-2 months what the hell is that.anyways i was wondering if i could use my stock cam with the bigger valvle springs for now. the lift of the cam i ordered is this 480 IN. 512 EX.

Probably best to call Hughes just in case but as long as your stock cam has less lift than the performance one you should be fine.
