Summit Racing has raised the price of the Magnaflow MPE-23285 from 176 to 206. This is the catalytic converter/ head pipe combo. I found it on ebay (same part) for 154 + 33 shipping.
Flowmaster Super 44's are now 87 everywhere. I got mine on ebay with free shipping for 87.22 on ebay. These are up from 79.
Jegs still has the 8.0mm Red Hot Power wires for 29.99(555-40251).I also purchased the brass distributor (555-40410) for 19.99 and shipping was 9.99.
It was a fun night thanks to my 4 little tax returns.

F*** opec. The US could tap alaska oklahoma and texas and double what opec produces; however, the government woluld have to raise taxes to fund it and once they started tapping gas would be like a 1.50 a gal but taxes would be outrageously high thus meaning it would all equal out because the government would not lower the taxes once the people get used to paying that amount.

Its not just the price of fuel.... Cats use precious metals in the cores.. platinum has sky rocketed as well as gold and other metals...mostly because when the dollar falls, people start putting money into gold and platinum and other metals.. pushing the prices up..I work with all precious metals... and its unbelievable the price of gold and platinum now.. unreal...

Went out and checked my exhaust bolts (mainfold to head pipe)and they are in great shape. I have heard horror stories about them, but mine look fine. I guess it helps to be garaged its entire life. After 194K miles I expected the worst.
