Default Carfax anyone?

Anyone got a carfax account I can use to look up one vehicle?

Since my Ram gets about 12-14 mpg, i've been tossing around the idea of maybe buying a really cheap little beater for commuting only. Found a little 4 banger that gets 32mpg. It's only got about 40k miles on it, and I can probably pick it up for under $1000, but want to look it up on carfax first. Thanks.

Hope you don't get into an accident in that car. I'd rather spend a little extra money in gas then get paralized or killed or something man. Just something to think about. There's otherways to save money.

I don't know. A lot of little Hondas and stuff have better saftey ratings than a lot of trucks and suv's. I think being in something larger gives you the feel of being safter but isn't really.

On that subject, has anyone ever seen a test done on theimpact plastics those cars are made out of in a pile-up senario? I understand that impact plastic may crinkle and absorb the impact of 1 vehicle. But how about5 or 6slamming into it? Does is keep aborbing or does it break? does it just keep getting smaller andsmaller? I'm guessing you die.
