RE: The NEW look of Dodge
Yeah, but it is easier to sit here and take pot shots at the 'ugly' new truck with the factory smell, better mpg, nice paint, etc. while we jump in our 13 year old trucks. I bet they don't even complain about how hard it is to reach the distributor cap...I bet they don't even HAVE a distributor cap, probably those 'pack' things. I feel sorry for them.
Oh yeah, it only cost me 1900 to drive my truck for a year last year. They also have those CAR PAYMENTS!!!

RE: The NEW look of Dodge
I have to say; I'm pissed. All of the money I have spent on all of these mods.....
Then they go and build one with all of them. I especially appreciate what they did with the wheel wells. You don't compensate for a lacking suspension by cutting out two thirds of the fenders. That is the one thing that has always bugged me about the 2nd gen and 3rd for that matter (3rd's are all f'ed up with big fender wells AND the ugly *** nose). I will be looking at buying one of these next fall if; 1) they didn't de-tune them (tq management), and, 2) the shift points are set correctly for the Hemi. The comm bus necessary to facilitate the systems that they are talking about would almost have to be rs485 and therefore CAN. Someone who bought one of these may be stuck with the stock programmingfor a while. If they come out with a R/T 5.7 with vct and a tunable intake... I have to say... I'm in.
