Default The NEW look of Dodge

I got some news today from a very reputable source about the new look of the Dodge Ram that is coming down the pipe. This news should excite all 2nd gen guys.

My father in law works for Chrysler. He is also in a trade field that deals with retooling the assy plants that build the Ram. He tells me that the next generation Ram will look extremely familiar to us 2nd gen owners. His exact words "They are going back to thebody style you have."

I will keep on him about this news. Maybethe Forum will be the first to see.

My opinion on this is I hope its true. I also expect that the truck will be a little bulkier as they are now, 20 in wheels, etc etc.

That's what they look like. It ain't that great lol. The fact that they're making them in foreign lands now sort of reflects in the appearance...

That would be the absolute best thing that they could do imo. I would love for them to bring back the 2nd Gen body style, as I'm sure most everyone else here would too. If only they will be more fuel efficient, that would make it perfect. I suspect it will be a Hemi that they would put into it; I'm fine with that too. Oh well, hopefully this will happen.

I don't like those that much. I like the current production ones much better. They need to just do an exact copy of the 2nd Gen Rams with all of the fixes.

I know about these also. They look like toyodas. This is not what he is talking about. He does not expect these to be here but a year or two.

They are going to the Magnum/Charger grill. There's no more originality in Chrysler. Go look at the Jeeps. All the 'car' Jeeps are identical inside and look near the same on the outside. The Dodge cars are ending up that way and now they are blending that right into the trucks. All their products look the same now. I don't know how they know what to sell. It's all the same. Just pick a payment you like and they plug in the vehicle, I guess.

I bet the are not as aerodynamic as the 2nd generations, which still may be the most areodynamic full size truck ever made.

I think they look alot like the new tundras. And i'm not so sure about the interior, I like having the fold up center consol. Other Than that, they look pretty nice.
