will a 1st gen 9 1/4 fit in a 2nd gen truck

 

It should, maybe depends on what years.Not much difference in a 93 and a 94 eng. and drivetrain.

 

The two are very similar but not exactly the same. You should take some pictures of 1st. gen's and then some of the 2nd gen's. Then compare and contrast. Last time I looked at some they had different style shock mounts and maybe something else but not much.
