I'd start with changing plugs and see if that helps.I use autolites.

To reset the PCM, just remove the negative battery cable, turn on headlights for a minute or so, turn headlights off and reconnect battery terminal. As far as the 44 code goes, you might want to replace the sensor under the battery, or at least check the wiring going to it for acid corrosion. The 12 code is nothing, so don't worry about that. Take a look at this. http://dodgeram.info/Engine-Gas/OBDI/pcm_fault_code.htm Whether you decide to clean the contacts on that sensor or just replace it, remove the negative battery cable before doing so.
