Default Feeding wires through fire wall

I picked up some Hella 500 driving lights. I need to fish wires through the fire wall. The problem is the wires that I have to fish through have flat blade female ends on them so the hole would have to be about 3/8 to clear. Should I just drill a hole or is there a secret hole with a rubber gromet somewhere where I can fish through.
Thanks Da Obie

When I installed my aftermarket fog lights, I drilled a small hole through the big rubber grommet that sits about straight behind the brake pedal and a foot or so higher on the firewall. Didn't even make it very big, just big enough to handle the wires, and then pulled the ends through using a small piece of stiff fencing wire.

EDIT: I've heard good things about the Hellas. Make sure and post pics when ya get it done.

I run all my wires through that big rubber grommet too. My fog lights had ends like that too. I just cur them off, ran the wire through the firewall, and crimped on new ends. No big deal.

After running wires through the fire wall I always use some blue form-a-gasket to seal it up. Easy to apply, waterproof, it will stay flexible and you can peel it off if you need to run a wire through later.

i find once that grommet is filled with lots of wires, its easier to use a ballpoint pen, and feed the wire through the tube, then slide the pen out again.
