Default Last Farewell...

Well I took the green machine and traded her in and got $5,000 trade in for her. Dropped that against a 2005 Mustang GT 5-speed. (The cobra was sold also) Please do not think im ragging but ive came to the conclusion of tuning a dodge ram w/ a 318 or 360 to run 13's or 14's is ALOT of money/impossible. It would be a much better experience to go buy a chevy (5.3L or 6.0L) for about 10k and put $2k into it and run low 13's all day and be a Daily Driver. I spent over $2k on that 98 dodge ram and didnt even blink at a 14 sec run. Maybe i didnt have a positive experience with the Dodge. But its gone and i like the stang. Personally i would have went with a Joe Gibbs Silverado or any Chevy. Because Chevy's are the bomb. That being said... LS1Truck.com.

Pretty much any truck IMO is stupid to make a race truck... Unless its all stripped down. but imo it would still be better to have a car.

I dont think there is anything wrong with making trucks faster, and more the way you like... but you know what im saying...

Good luck with the mustang.

From a man of many Mustangs, I can promise you that you can make that Mustang run whatever times you want it to. I've got a 95 5.0 that runs 10.8 consistantly and a 91 notchback that runs 9.4's consistanly and I am not done yet. Both are able to be driven on the street. The 95 used to be my daily driver before I got the ram. Enjoy, I sure do!

Usually when you trade with a car lot they say $5000 for yours but, in reality it's more like $3000-$3500.

If you wanted to run 13s in that truck, why didn't you supercharge it?

Hey Ramrush,

How many mile do you have on that Ram? What have you done to keep it running that long?
