front driveshaft help

Default front driveshaft help

Hi guy's new to the forums and have a few ? First I seem to have a ujoint noise coming from in front of the transfercase, tried to drop the front drive shaft but could'nt get it out i took out the 4 bolts in front of the transfercase but it would not move, anybody have any input or a pic as to how this driveshaft comes out.Also my 4wd drive light stays on all the time even when its in 2wd.Oh by the way its a 1996 ext cab longbox with a 318. Thanks for any help you can give.

It should just fall off, but if it doesnt you might need to tap it with a dead-blow hammer, also remove the two U-bolts on the front axle yoke

I suggest a Dead-blow because when your under the truck, sometimes a regular hammer will recoil back and smack you in the face, making it a bad day
