So...everytime i start up my truck a little arrow appears on my tach pointing straight up toward the three then goes awayjust like the air bag light check engine light etc...but what the hell is the arrow, what does it mean?

 

it means to shift,do u have a standerd.i have that arrow to, i seen it when i put a alum bezel on,but i figured cuz i had a automatic they disconnected the light,i seen it accually work on a 96 standerd.
