hey everyone, i KNOW for a FACT you guys wont like this lol. but i drive a 2000 f-150. and use f150.com but thats besides the point. i actually registered this site for my gf's dad who drives a 2000 dodge ram v-8. I was just looking to see if you guys could help me with some info. he has 60k miles and wants to do an engine rebuild with better parts, this is his daily driver though and i have him talked in to looking in to some other options first. he has dual exhaust (y pipe) and a cold air intake and thats it. i was wondering do you guys run 2 cats? or does it come from the exhaust manifolds in to a y pipe then one cat? also i kno on the fords the front y pipe is so restricted people pull them off and they are smaller then 2inches! inside!!!. i guess im just asking for any real world info on what you guys think about a daily driver/performance truck. we live way up in northern mn so it gets cold here. what kind of oil does everyone run? and should a true dual with over flow cats, X over pipe, and good flowmasters or magnaflows be a good exhaust set up this? and also what about underdrive pulleys, superchips programmers, headers, and e-fans? anyone have experience with these? IM SORRY this is so long and general... ill get more in depth once i know a little more about the dodge trucks. i know there is a guy on the f-150 forum site that has delt with fords for 20 some years, he works with super chips to do a cutsom superchips 9100 custom tune based on what you have installed on the truck. does anyone do this on dodge trucks? any help would really be great guys and im really sorry about all this all in one post!!!
