Should have leaft the outer axel shaft on. because if you leave it together you can use the hub bearing bolts to drive the whole assembly out. if you can get it back together. get a crappy 9/16 socet and hit the socket with the wheelbearing bolts backed out but not off. With some elbow grease and patience hiting the bolts an equal distance it will pop out. I do this all the time cause my friends an i seem to eat up the u joints. and my 2wd truck two weeks ago ate up the bearing. And if you use that method you wont wreck the wheelbearing next time. I can get pics if you would want. I am doin a 4x4 now. This ishow my local stealership said to do it when you dont have the special puller.

First leave it all together.. Outerstub and bearing. Then back out the 3 bolts that hold it in.. but not all the way. get a crappy 9/16 (cause you will distroy it) an beat on the bolts. The socket keeps the bolt nice. And make sure it is a big hammer.. and kinda beat each bolt about the same. then it wont bind up on the way out. As far as the bearing is concerned.. once you've pulled t apart I would replace or rebuild.
