Default Dual Intakes

Ok I have been looking for a dual intake for my '98 ram 1500 5.9L but all I can find is the dual intake for the 3rd generation trucks. Could anyone point me in the right direction or is there not even one made? Thanks!

http://www.ramairbox.com/

You can get a dual snorkel box for just about anything you can think of from them. RM_Indy had sucess with his, Im sure he'd be able to elaborate.

Ok I will make as painless for you as possible. Cause I went through the EXACT thing...I wanted dual intake like that pic above and it was made for 3rd gen only....

Here is the short...just get a 14" round air cleaner w/ 14"x3" K&N #1650 Air Filter

The long...I looked and looked and called and called...no one was able to find one or would make one. The 2nd gens don't have the room and our TB is more towards the back...it won't fit unless you run a tube to the side then connect it up. This would cost a lot and wouldn't look the best. I think you still might get more air on the round anyway. You could custom make one with a welders touch but in the end I put the round 14 and I am totally happy!

There are DIY on how to do that with step to step directions...do a search! Take care.

Ok, this is bothering me. I know they have one for our trucks. Infact I was just looking at an engine bay of a 360 that had the dual intake set-up. It was on ebay for $200. But of course I can't find it now, it's driving me crazy. They had it for the 5.2 and 5.9 rams, durangos, and dakatos I believe. I'll keep trying to find it, they do make one..

Here's a picture of the round air cleaner TIMIDONE was talking about

That's your best option besides the ram air box. Which is probably the most superior non forced induction air cleaner available for our trucks.
