V-10 has no spark
OK, here we go. My 3500 Dually has sat for the last 5 months. I went to start it and the battery was dead. I juiced up the battery and the enginge turns over fine but it will not fire off. I checked and I dont seem to be getting juice at the coils. Any thoughts?
The battery needs to be fully charged before it will fire up. I had this problem a while ago, I boasted it, it would turn over but no start up. I replaced the battery and it fired right up.Good luck.
I just went thru the same about three months ago.
had a 2 year old battery that went bad...wouldn't hold a charge. I had to charge the battery and then jump it to get the vehicle to start. No amount of charging would allow vehicle to start and neither would jumping...together worked. Got vehicle into town replaced battery and I was good to go.

The battery is less than a year old so I wouldnt suspect that. It got new plugs and wires when I did the battery install. I'll check the cells tomorrow and see whats up. The truck has been super all these years it's really odd that it would fail like this.
After much Googling I'm begining to believe it is the crank sensor. I crawled around under the truck to take a look. Is there an easier way to replace the sensor other than removing the passenger side motor mount?
