RE: Drag racing clip and timeslips!
Thanks for all of the help and advice, and RM_Indy your site is a great help, it was one of the first things i read after getting the truck. Im quite proud of my reaction times, i thought theyd get worse from the long break over the winter. Not to mention switching from a clutch to an auto helps a lot lol. Im still smiling everytime i start my truck
yeah i hate that dent with a passion, ill work on it when i have the time. My weight didnt seem right to me either so ill have it on the scales next time im at the track.
Im looking to get into the low 15.10's, or beat my friends dakota, which is in the low 15.10's haha. Id also like to keep it very streetable, because its my DD.

ORIGINAL: Boardingkaos
i never slid off the line and i just slammed it to the floor to keep the consistancy.
As far as it being slow goes, it weighs 6400 lbs and even though that was sarcastic, i hope you noticed i care more about consistancy than speed.
For burnouts i drove around the water and then spun to get the dirt of like you said.
How does heat hurt street tires?
edit:
i just reread it and i sound likea dick but thats not how i meant it

What was done to that grand prix you raced?
Ive raced a 2006 grand prix with a 3.8 and I pulled about 2 lengths untill aorund 70 when it slowly caught up... never passed. I have the same engine practically stock... exhuast, hypertech does practically nothing + the weight of 4x4 and 3.55's.
Ive had my truck on a scale at the scrap yard and it was around 5600lbs

Bouncer, I'm sorry. Ill strip it down and make it a pure race truck as soon as i can. Again, im so sorry.
Like someone said earlier, i had the wrong weight. the weight i read on the door panel was the gross weight. Im getting the truck weighed next time im at the strip. bracket racing was the only way i would have beaten him, and i would have too if i hadent redlighted[:@]
