hahaha wooow i completely forgot about that, honestly i dont really notice it. Ill probably scrape it off soon though. Aww i like my bug deflectors, the black and silver go well together
Where did you get it and how much did it cost? I want to replace my hood also for looks and cooling the engine down, plus my round air would be right there!
Bout time you posted pics Mowhawk! Looks good, nice n clean [8D]
Unfortunately, I figurethat bud deflector is diverting mostof the airlfow over top of the ramair inlet reducing its potential a lot[]
Hmm well with that knowledge ill be taking my bug deflectors off asap. As for the cost was 700 then another 200 for the ram air set up so yes Wile C its the real deal. Thanks INDY haha it really is about time that i show off my ride, now i really feel a part of the forum. Next thing i gotta do though is rebuild the engine from block up so i can drop a supercharger in, or twin turbos maybe with a shot of no2 to make up for turbo lag. Then indy and only then will i beat your but up and down the strip, hahaha but u weight less.....[]
Do need to put out a "warning" about this hood though and ones like it. For some reason the brilliant designers who made the hood made the air system ****ty. You have to screw on an air box to the top of the underside of the hood. There is a small rectangular hole cut out that the box goes over. Hole is about 5 inches wide and 2-2.5 inches high. Then there is a connecting piece that goes from the STOCK AIR BOX to the airbox you bolted on. If you see it the idea behind it is nice, but with the hole being that small, the use of the stock air box, and the small connector piece it seems kinda restricted. I had to get rid of my K&N CAI for this, but i dont regret it, nothing can be ram air. So to solve this IndyRamMan and i have been talking about our scoop set ups, and im going to fab a airbox that will seat over a 14x3 round air filter. Its a good hood with a good idea, just would be better if they made the "tubing" fatter. Also i should mention that everything is fiberglass so its very nice
