Default Post up your tint

For some reason like 01DodgeRam360 likes exhausts I like tint. Post up pictures of what you have.

Here is mine. It's supposed to be 5% over the stock tint on the rears and 35% on the front although the 35% is pretty old so it's a little faded.

You can see here how you can see the pine tree a little though it. This is why I'm not sure it's 5% over the rear window but the shop that did it insists it is. It measured out to 8% on a meter but the meter was reading about 5% high so it should be about 3% I think. To me 5% over stock should be darker but idk I'm starting to think it really is 5% after seeing others. I know my old truck with 5% and no stock tint was a lot lighter looking in.

Hmm..your rears appear to look limo to me bro. I think your fronts look light though. Your 35% looked like my 50%. I think if you go darker in the front, it will make your limo appear even darker, but it looks about right to me judging from those pictures.

Yeah but you see how you can see that pine tree through the picture of the rear window? It's even lighter when the sun is shining directly windsheild. I can't seem to capture it with a picture though. Like I can see the inspection sticker on the windshield if the sun is shining at it. If not it's hard to see but I think thats just how 5% is with the sun shining in. I think it must be because my buddys with 2 layers of 5% I can see through still when the sun hits the windshield.

My 35% looks light if you look through it from the rear to where you are looking though one window and the windshield. If you look straight on you can see through but it doesn't look light and if you look at an angle from the front side you really can't see in it at all.I didn't have the 35% it was on there when I got it but I've had a couple different people at different shops tell me it was 35% so I'm pretty sure thats what it is. It's not super dark but it's fairly dark unless the sun hits it.

The rear sides it doesn't matter how the sun hits it if you look straight on you can't see through them. The only time you can see through them is if you open it up and so you can look through it like the rear window would. You can see through it then if the light is right although it seems to be darker a little than the rear still.

Overall I like this setup but I wouldn't mind having the fronts 5% like you do but at the same time I'm not sure I really want that or would like it for very long. I think it would look sweet but be a pain.

5% is the only way to go... I had 35% before i put on the 5% and it made a huge difference.... Just try it, youll never go back...

Looks good. All of those trucks actually look really good. The 20% looks dark in those pictures. When I've seen it in person I've still been able to see through it fairly easily if the sun is out. Thats why I didn't think I wanted it.
