U-joint front axle cost??
I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would probably cost me to have my driver side u-joint replaced on the axle. I would probably do the ball joints too while everything was apart. I have to get this fixed then the truck is sold!! Can you say 3rd gen camaro??!!
From when I researched this before mine were done a month or two ago...
If you're going to have a shop do it (not do it yourself), you're looking at around $700-$900 for parts/labor for ball joints and u-joints on both sides, plus an alignment when that's all done. For only one side, you're looking at $500-$600.

i did my u joint driver side myself at my house for 20$ and 3-4 hrs labor.sorry, but i just wont pay that much for work to be done on my truck, even if i dont know what im doing its still cheper in the long run, and once i do it, then i know how to do it for the next time.so even if it does take a little more time and a little headake im still saving money if i ever have to do it again on another vehicle, because now i know how to.as long as it is not my tranny that is broke i will try my best to fix it and ussually it is sucssesful.
the best thing to remember is that it goes back together exacly the opposite the way it came apart.
good luck and if u have any questions just postem and everyone here will be glad to help.we are here for man.and if you have tackled somthing i havent yet and im lookin for some info im sure youll be there for me..righ.Right.RIGHT...LOL
