Default CoolPak install

I figured you guys would like to check out my install for the "CoolPak" electric fans. I purchased this out of Summit. I also installed the ASP underdrive crank pulley. Total install time was around two hours due to the removal of the shaker.Install with an OEM hoodwill be around one half hour. This install requires simple hand tools and maybe a drinking buddyThis product is a heavy gauge powder coated die cut steel.

Step 1: Remove fan from water pumpusing a 32mm wrench. You will need a large adjustable wrench to hold the water pump pulley. This is the buddy part.
Step 2: Remove overflow and wiper fluuid resevoirs.
Step 3: Remove fan and shroud together. Four 10mm bolts.
Step 4: Slide CoolPak into place. Do not attach with existing hardware at this time. Place thermostat probe into radiator.
Step 5: Attach fans with existing hardware at this time. Place resivoirs in slots.
Step 6: CoolPak blue wire ties into the a/c compressor black/blue or black/white wire. Attach CoolPak red wire to positive anode on battery. CoolPak black wire attach at radiator mounting bolt.

NOTE: Fans cycle with clutch of a/c in defrost and air conditioning modes. Temp guage operations in all other modes to include "off".

I also installed the K/N flow thru topper for the 14in air cleaner. The S.O.P dyno recieved instant gratification from the mod. Little pricey but looks clean with good horsepower gain.
