96 Ram Key wont come out/no start
My ignitoin switch bit the dust i guess, key wont come out,no start,steering wont lock. Any body got a link to this repair? And can anybody tell me what screwdriveri need to get the swich out. Thanks in advance

Here are the notes about the column from the Ram Service Manual 2001. Should be very similar to yours. Hope they help. (have to put this in 2 posts - download the attachments for better viewing).

BTW, do a search for the "Merry Christmas Thread" and download the PDF manual for yourself. Lots of good info in there that will work for your truck also.

Yes. Kind find the tool at any Pep boys.. Autozone.. etc. etc.
Thecylender and switch are actually very easy to remove/install. Done it myself on my 99.. If you have any questions.. I will gladly try to answer.. hit me up on a PM. Good luck.
