[sm=forgetit.gif] DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I just bought a PowerDyne Super Charger for my 97 Ram SS/T with the 5.9 Liter in it. WOW ITS AMAZING! I bought it from a buddy for $1000. I saw the same thing on ebay for 800 and up. If you really want a charger this powerdyne is perfect. Since I installed it I noticed a HUGE difference and I am now getting 17mpg on the high way instead of 14mpg. here is a Pic of my charger installed as of last night.

Wow, you just installed it last night and you can say you are already getting more MPG?
I think you need to drive it for a few tanks before getting anything accurate.

But... thats a sweet deal.

 

no freekin way! Supercharger gas mileage mod!? Sounds better and better every time I hear something.

 

Most guys I know wont bother with that Mopar 4bbl.
F&B 55mm tbs(55x2) flow 980cfm, Hughes 55mm flows 1050cfm.(what I have)
F&B 55x58tb flows 1100cfm, (need Rossini mount) Buddies just got Accells 4bbl (1250cfm) with progressive linkage.

Lotusttu84 what kind of fuel upgrades came with your supercharger?
When not in boost a s/c costs hp/mpg from extra parasitic loss spinning it. How much it costs will depend on the motor. Stock motor will notice a bigger drop, built motors generally see less drop cause its a much smaller percentage of the total hp. When in boost at WOT the proper air to fuel ratiois 11.5-12.0:1. In boost you should be using a lot more gas not less.
