98 5.2 magnum hp?
I believe you are correct.
I believe from 1992-1994, the 5.2L made 230 hp. In 1995 and onward, they did something that subtracted 10 hp but added 20 ft lbs or so of torque. The 5.9L up until some year (not sure exactly when) made 245 hp, but during one of its last years (sometime around 1999, I think), they did something to it to get an extra five.
Someone with more experience: feel free to elaborate or correct me on the numbers for the 5.9L.
As far as rear wheel HP, I'm not sure. Someone else here has the numbers, I'm sure.

Interesting. I see both numbers on various websites, but you're right RM_Indy, 230 pops up the most. I know my 1995 Dakota w/ the 5.2 had 220. Why the difference I wonder?
Both the 5.2 & 5.9 increased hp in 98. (220-230 & 230-245) Gave them the same catback type exhaust as the Indy/SST from my understanding. Think there was a cam/puter change on the 02 5.9to get another 5hp but I maybe mistaken.
I'm guessing the change in 95 might have had something to do with beginning elimination of the EGR valve system. I know some owners of 95's and96's state that they have EGR's on them, but others have said that they do not.
