if you have 285's or bigger, the 4.10's will make you happy... I was. (had 295's which = approx 34")

Inexpensive mod and looks easy to do. I've been wanting something better than the stock look so I think I'll look into this. Will post pics when/if I get it done.

maybe do a DIY writeup for the 2nd gen ram group... there may be enough differences to make it worth while... you be the judge.

I may try this too. I'm just concerned about the longevity of the mesh, like rust wise.

i did it on mine, but instead of putting it in place of the stock grill, i just put it on over the top of the original grill. it looked fine, but it only lasted for about 3 months, and i didnt even make it to the winter, which would corrode the hell out of it.

I was thinking of doing it over the original grill also. Maybe I can find better material that won't corrode before I attempt it though.

Good idea.......
I had something like this on my '95......I used black plastic fabric for screen windows/door.s...cut it to fit each section of the honeycone, from the rear, and secured it using some fishing line. The honeycomb was already painted black....it's purpose wasn't to change the looks but to keep bugs etc. from the condenser and radiator area...worked for me
