do you guys see performance ,and you exhaust louder with these high flow cats .

 

I saw a notable difference when I changed from a clogged up cat to the free flowing. I also put on a Flowmaster muffler at the same time, so yes, it got louder.

As a side note, after I hacked into my exhaust this afternoon, I found that it was not my off-brand cat that was rattling, but the heat shield on the tail pipe, sounded just like my stock cat when it started rattling.

At that point, I had already cut the pipes out, so I just left it as is (dumps behind cat, no muffler) and I'm taking it easy around the po-po for the next few days until I can get to the muffler shop and have him weld on glass packs. Sure is loud. I like how mean it sounds, but I have a feeling the police will hear me coming a mile before I get there.
