Default need opinions.

Ok I have a 1500 with 36's and 3.55's. I want to upgrade to 37x12.50's sometime this summer. This would mean that I will need to regear, but do you guys think that I should change to 1 ton or 3/4 ton axles. I don't go offroad much, the occasional adventure, and hunting season is all. But I do tow alot, with quite a bit of tungue weight.

With a tire that big it wouldn't be a bad idea if you have the money espeically if you go offroad some or tow. You forsure need a lot lower gear ration than you have now with 37's heck you really need lower gears now.

i know, but my thinking is, why spend 1500 bucks to regear now, when I may need to switch axles later. Just seems like kindof a waste. I was thinking that I could pickup a set of 60's from a 3/4 ton, and geta set of 5.13's, and put air lockers in them, and put unlocking hubs in the front. If I had them out of the truck, it would be much easier to work on them when I get a little money here and there.
