gauges dead

Default gauges dead

I'm having a problem with my 2001 ram. the cluster gauges stopped working and can't find a reason why fuses are good also found a cluster panel out of a 1998 ram and after everything was hooked up they worked just as the key was turned on and then it done the same thing the other did. any help PLEASE.

You must have a short, trace threw the dash with the panel out an look for anything rubbing or touchin. Did the dash fry or does it not work. have it tested. IE another truck plug it in. because if Im not mistakin the dash uses very low voltge to operate. if there is a short it might be junk.
