passenger side ujoint, can you?
can you pull the shaft out if you leave the hub nut on, if you remove the 3 12 mm bolts on the back side, can it all come out without removing the bearings. the hub nut is giving me trouble and without an air hammer drill i can't remove it..
thank you for any info

yes...you can.. in fact alot of people here suggest taking it out that way.. then getting it in a vise to work the nut off...just need to be careful of the axelseals when sliding the unit out.. dont bang them or ding them..or you could develop a leak.....
http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech/hub.php Hereis a link to a DYI on hub removal... have fun!!
PS,, I bought a 30 dollarimpact gun... works great on stuff like this and the crankshaft nut.. worth a 30 dollar investment...you can get a whole set up.. small compressor and impact set up pretty cheap as well... if i was a Mech for a living.. its probably not worth it..you'd wanta better set up.. but for a DIY'er like me.. it was a good deal.
