Default Exhaust Volume

Im looking to make the exhaust on my truck louder. I have a flowmaster 40 now and I was wondering if I put on a high-flow cat and a round air cleaner will that make it noticably louder? any other suggestions? I dont want it obnoxiously loud. Thanks

Yes, that would be noticeably louder.

"Obnoxiously loud" is relative to your personal preference. I have the Super 44 series with a high flow, 3" from the y-pipe back, and I love mine. My wife now refuses to drive it because its "to loud for her".

it will make it quite a bit louder, not so much the air cleaner, but the high flow cat will.
