Hey all,

I'll try to make this short. It started roughly 4 months ago when I started to hear a "crackle", if you will, under the glove box when I turned thetemperature from hot to cold. This crackle would then go away when I turned it back to hot. I assumed it was my blower motor, but then again I know next to nothing about vehicles.

Shortly thereafter, this "crackle" would continue even when I completely turnedthe fan off.

Now the "crackle" isn't so noticable, however, when I turn the temp to cold it will still blow hot air.

Sometimes, if I'm lucky, cool air will blow for the majority of the time but everynow and then it will just turn to hot air, without me switching anything.

Can someone tell me what I should start looking for first? I have the small issue of the "crackle" and now the temperature has a mind of its own.
