Ya'll will love this
My friend has a F250 powerstroke with a 10 inch lift and 44's well he was down by the creek and though he would just cross it not knowing how tall the water was. He dropped both front tires in water and couldn't get out. He tried to get out but all he did was spin on the gravel and dig a deeper hole. I asked him "hey want me to pull you out?" He said " Buddy I dont think you can pull this big thing out with that weak ram." Well after 5 minutes of debating and what not he decided he didnt want a wrecker bill. Well i hooked chains ball to ball. Put the ole mopar in 4lo and dragged that big SOB out of that creek. Ever since he has never once complained about dodge.
Yes...one of my favs...I was up skiing and this big lifted chevy was "playing" in the in snow. he got stuck...I offered to pull him out with my stock dodge. Made soem comment like...sure if you want to TRY!....pullled his *** out 4wd hi....lol...I made the comment to him "nice truck...sank like a rock" LOL
My old boss was giving me hell when I first bought muy truck saying it couldn't pull a little car out of the sand. There just happened to be one of thosebig a** steel storage containers with a whole bunch of construction equipment in it on the job site. Mind you the site was pretty mucha four wheel drive only site. I bet him a hundred bucks I could drag through the sand to the other side, hisjaw dropped and I got a hundred bucks!
I have to admit. When you drop em in 4lo, they become a torque'e SOB. When I put it in drive after shifting into 4lo, the passenger side nose will drop like an inch or so. It looks real drastic if you go from Reverse to Drive. Me only having 3.55's and impressed, I can't imagine those with 4.10's
Thats awsome, too bad you didin't have a camera ready.
4.10's work great, I think it makes the truck crawl around pretty well.

I had a 1987 Chevy 3/4 ton 454. 4x4 with a granny 4 speed. I love this truck, it had been my best friend for almost 10 years. worked this ol truck hard everyday. I pulled loaded trailers from race cars to skid loaders. Got hung up in a waterway in a field. All the wayup to the frame. Firewall back was flat in the mud. I had 2 Ford 4x4's break 2 chains and one tow strap. (both trucks were pulling together) didnt get me to budge. An ol farm hand had this 96 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 with stock michelins on it. Backed up to my bumper......tied off to the hitch with a tow rope. pulled it tight. Got out fo his truck said to one of the ford boys lets go into town for lunch. We did and were gone about 3 hours with travel time and tavern stop...lol. Came back the ol man told me to fire my truck and let it back out as he pulled. He fired the Dodge in low 4wd of couse and we walked out of the mud slowly. His Dodge pulled me out when 2 Fords together wouldnt move me. I bought this dodge from that ol boy and gave my Chevy to my son. lol ( my son is a die hard Ford fella) and so are his friends but ha drives a really nice Chevy. LOL!! Now I drive what I have come to see is one of the most user/abuser friendly vehicles I have ever used. I use/abuse her daily my truck is definately no pavement princess, but she does get all the washes and waxes she wants...LOL!!
i know what you mean man. Torque is great in dodges no matter what the hell anyone says. This guy had a v6 f150 with granny gear and said he would drop chains and drag me across a field. Didnt happen his way. Didnt even touch 4 wheel drive just help myh brake while he spun in the dirt. He let off and i stomped the gas drug him about 100 feet
