is this 3 inch lift worth while?
Ebay Link
I don't want more than a 3 inch because I still have to get my kids in and out of the vechile...but I have to buy new tires and I want to upsize them to 33's. Could anyone who knows the mechanics of dodges please let me know if this kit will potentialy damage things in my front end? I used to be a Chevy ZR2 owner and I knew that most of the 3 inch kits you got for those would damage your cv's due to messing with the angles. not sure if this kit would do something similar to the dodge.
Thanks

I have heard good things about them too (and am also considering this exact lift).
I think a lot of companies say you can go up to 3' with the coil spacers without needing new lower control arms, but I think if you are going to spend $300, you might as well go for the kit you listed for $350 and get the full meal deal. No sense in risking angles, geometry, etc. Plus the longer shocks will be nice.
If you get it, post pics before/after.. love to see it!

this kit is made by rough country, i think. I purchased the 489.00 kit from rough country on ebay. The one that I bought looks like it has the same shocks, but it has springs for the front, and both uppers and lower control arms. My kit also came with swaybar lowering brackets, but I removed mine altogether.
Overall I say go for it, but you probably only need like a 2 inch lift to run 33s, if you don't do much offroading.

Now all I have to do is wait for that nice little tax incentive so I have some spare change...then I think I am going to get that kit.
With DODGE you have no CVs.
You have a rigid one piece differential no funny IFS (Indepedent Front Suspension) deal.
With 3" of lift you don't realy have to worry aboutany of theangles.
Only thing I would upgrade (if you intend of do some off-roading) would be the track arm which is notorious for going bad fast. (http://www.thurenfabrication.com/products.html)
This will keep your steering from wandering and keep the lift kit performing right.

true, i completely forgot about that, but because its only a 3 inch lift i would just make an adapter that came with my kit, it worked great. It just supplied a second hole in the axle.
I would just make an adapter that slides the hole over towards the drivers side about an inch. When you buy the lift kit, just ask and i will take a picture of mine, all it is is a piece of angle iron, probably could pick a piece up for a couple bucks, drill a few holes in it, and it works great
