Default I just threw a code 1294

Yesterday I did a bunch of work on the old truck --> cap, rotor, water pump, thermastat, all new coolent hoses and radiator. when I cranked it up it was idleing a little high. 900rpm I thought it was just because of the tune up. but then I threw a 1294 code. Could I have nocked loose a vacume line that would do that?

According to the FSM:

1294 - Target Idle Not Reached. Target RPM not achieved during drive idle condition. Possible vacuum leak or IAC (AIS) lost steps.

It could very likely be a vacuum leak. I'd double check all your hoses.

Good luck,

did you reconnect the small vac hose that goes into the MAP sensor? You probably removed it when you changed the t stat.

Also check the two lines that go into the side of the intake manifold. One comes from the PCV, the other comes from the charcoal canister.
