Default SCORED SOME RIMS!

I just scored some 20in '03 Stock dodge ram rims.. with 275/55's for 350! still got a good 5k on tread! Cant wait to pick them up! Also got a newb question tho.. heh. havnt played with tires nor have i played with the numbers.. so is 275/55 on 20's gonna fit on my stock setup? or will i have to wait until i get my body/leveling kit on? and he also said that my stock lugs wont work..? ill have to buy some other ones..

I have 2006 20"s with the OEM tire size (275-60-20)on my stock 1996 1500 4WD.

Only rubs slightly when wheel turned all theway and hitting a bump.

I actually want to lower my truck a little... lol

They'll rub. They're somewhere around a 31inch tire I think. My 30.8in tire rubs with a 3in lift kit..

put them on and see if they rub, if they do you could buy a set of wheel spacers to move them out about an inch or so. A 31" tire should not rub on a 4wd, unless the tire is offset way to the inside.

I have had 275/55/20 and 285/50/20 on my 01 Ram 2wd and had NO rubbing issues at all. I have a set of 03 Dodge 20's on mine. You should have any problems with the rubbing issues. The lugs will not be a problem either. I use all my stock equipment. Depending on what year your truck is you might have a problem with the center caps on the front. The center might poke through if you have a 94-95 2wd.

ive never had any rub with my 31's on my stock dodge, there is the slightest bit of rise because of the shocks that i have in it, but I dont see how it even comes close to rubbing, those are what, almost a 32X11 in. tire?Yeah, I dont see any reason why it should rub, and anyways you have so much more room in the wheelwell of your 2nd gen ram than that of a 3rd gen. ram, thats one of the only things I was disappointed with the new ram for was the change in the wheelwell design.

i have 305/40 r 22's on my 1999 dodge ram 1500 stock suspension and everything, for the longest time it never rub until a lil accident with a curb and pedestrian, then it rubbed bad, all i did was cut the bottom of the rubber/plastic fender off, it really dont look tacky, but if u have to prior damage to ne of the wheel areas u could probably put a desent meaty tire on there, if they do rub u can always find some smaller descent tires (20's) on craiglist, or ebay
