I want to replace my headlights. They are foggy and have some slime on them. I'm having a hard time finding a set for a diesent price though. Everywhere I go it costs $180+. I figure if I am going to spend the money, might as well buy something nice. I don't know much about projector headlights, or why they are so so popular, but want to know what you guys think of these? They are also one piece so I wouldn't even need a corner lense, and would probably prevent any fogging issues. Are these too silly? And what's the big to do about projectors, do they do something special over regular headlights?

Light output is probably worse than factory I've heard lots of complaints about the quality of them and you not being able to adjust some of them. Then there is also a issue with how they are wired for the high beams or something so it takes a little wiring work.

Well I think the wiring issue pertains to people with the nonsport because it's a 2 headlamp system in these, so I shouldn't have to do anything. I just want something clean. I really would like something that looked more stock that was one piece. But they dont offer **** for the sport model headlights, and stock crap is super expensive. I also hate how they dont make clear corners made for the sport model. Sure I can fit regular ram corners in there, but they may leak because they aren't really designed for them. Hmmm

Yeah, but the ones on ebay have all of that queer robotic purple and oranges and **** in there lol. I want completely clear headlights without all the weird futuristic bull****. I may just get stock ones again, but I can't justify spending more than $100 for a set of headlights.

No the wiring issue is something to do with how you have to ground a wire to the frame or something. Or else it keeps the highbeam light on the dash on all the time and I'm not sure if it keeps it on low beams or highbeams all the time. I don't think it's a huge deal just something to watch out for.

You sure they don't have ones like that on eBay? I thought some of them were like those.

Anyway I still think the stock ones are the best looking imo.

Yeah same here, but I can't find a set of the sports that are in my price range. I just want to clean the look of the front up, and don't want to spend over $120 for headlights. Most people are selling sport headlights for $120 for just one side, it's bogus. So, hopefully I can either find some used ones in good shape, or new ones for cheap.

My buddy was looking for lights for his 01 sport. He kinda came up empty handed so I can't point ya in the right direction.

Good luck. Unless you find a guy selling them used, and he doesn't know what he has, you probably won't find them for under $120.

I paid about $120 for my headlights, shipped. If yours wasn't a sport, I would say the black trimmed version of my headlights (rather than chrome) would look great on your truck. But they don't make 'em for the sport model.

There are several projector lights between $125-$150 price range (shipped) on eBay that aren't fancy dancy junk, some are just basic projectors with white LED lights.

Can you show me what your talking about? I'll do projectors as long as they don't have all those weird colors going on inside. I wouldn't even mind paying $120 for sport headlights, but I can't find that. The best I can find is $200 for a new set, but then I would still have to buy clear corners from a ram, which sucks lol.
