Default Rocker Arm torque in FT. LBS.

I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 5.9 360 and I dont have an inch pounds torque wrench. Does anybody know what the spec would be in FT. LBS?

Well the conversion is fairly easy.
Just divide the inch lbs number by 12.

But, theres a reason they put it in inch lbs, its more accurate. 1 ft lbs equils 12 inch lbs so it could throw you anywhere in that area.

My suggestion would be to get a inch lbs tourqe wrench.

If it were just a retainging bolt for somthing simple, sure it doesnt need to be that precise, but a rocker arm I think I would want to get it best as I could.

35ft lbs= 47.4

45 ft lbs =61.0
