This is on a 2006 Honda Accord V6 6speed if that matters. I took this piece and this tube out to change the high beam headlight bulb on this side. I was thinking this lid sat tight against the top of the tube but I didn't pay super close attention. Now that I have it ready to go back together it seem to sit maybe an inch above the tube. Do I have something wrong or is this how it should be? What exactly is this? Looks like a tube that would lead to a air intake but there is nothing at the top except this cover.
