Door latch problem
Last night, a frined and I were putting the sound system into my truck, we finaly got it done got into the truck to take it for a ride to hear it. When my friend got in the truck, and shut the door it dident fully catch, so he opend it then shut it harder... sometimes its like that when the windows are closed, so I dident think any thing of it then when we went to open the door to get out when the latch "unhooks" it makes this loud clunk noise.
I rememeber reading somewhere that there is an adjustment for the door latch's, and how much sping preasure that holds the door shut... all it needs is that adjusted I think, I just want to know how to do it. Im almost positive I saw it in the merry chrismas service manual, but now I cant find it.
I think I see the adjustment screw, its a little screw inside a cut slot in the door right above the latch, but I just wanted to make sure before I mess with it.
Its kinda strange, the door was never slammed when we were working on, it just was open for about 6 hours or so, nothing is in the door holding it open, nothing is hitting it... just somthing make that latch come out of adjustment.
My driverside door has made the same noise, just alot less, and it takes more effort tto shut it ever since I had the body shop put new door hinges on the drivers side, I knew there was an adjsut ment I just never got to it.
Any help would be appriciated becasue you really gotta slam the door to fight the sping in the latch for it to latch.

linkage.
(3) Lift upward on outside door handle and release
it.
(4) Tighten torx head screw on latch.(5) Verify latch operation
From the 2001 service manual.
