have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4x4 w/5.2 liter that was sitting 2months with a dead battery . i charged the battery and went to start and nothing wont turn over nothing. lights on dash come on headlights work radio is on i can even hear fuel pump turn on. i turn key radio dies and dash lights go off and nothing noteven a clicking soundi checked all fuses there good. i banged on starter and solinoid with hammer nothing i have one off those key chain security chips next to ignition does any body think my truck forgot the chip code with a dead battery so long? if yes how do i bypass it? before it was sitting the truck ran fine. any help or ideas would be appreciated.

 

never mind i disconnected the batt for about 2 minutes then reconnected batt and the truck fired right up it must of reset the computer.spent all day pulling fuses and checking solinoid.
