have a 1998 dodge ram 4x4 5.2 liter with a secure a code security system came with truck from dealer. does any body know how it works. when i put my key in and turn the key to the on postion should the led light turn off? im having trouble starting
my truck wont turn over sat 2 months with dead battery wondering if it has something to do with the secure a code chip all fuses good lights work radio works fuel pump turned on any ideas?

 

Did you fully recharge the battery or replace it?

 

i fully charged the battery. not replace it . its only 3 years old

 

never mind im an idiot i disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes then reconnected the battery and the truck fired right up spent most of day pulling fuses checking solinoid and all i had to do is disconnect batt. it must of reset the computer or something.
