well im a mass resident so they will fall over backwards if they see a vehicle without a muffler. its tough enough getting a sticker with a 180 deg t-stat. thanks for all the help everyone.

 

I have a Flowmaster 50HD on my Hemi, good sound, but not too crazy. Very deep growl with my CAI and LT Headers.

If you are looking solely at Flowmaster, then you may want to look at the new 44 Series. It's my understanding that really poor test results showed their chambered design is fairly restrictive, resulting in some bad press. The design was sacrificing a good bit of flow for that classic Flowmaster sound.The powers at Flowmastermade better flow a high priority. The 44 is supposed to be a new design that really flows significantly better than the 40 or 50 series with a decibel level somewhere right between the two...

 

Summit racing has a chambered race muffler that is Like 30 bucks and sounds similar to a 40 series flowmaster.

 

im not looking at any one paticular brand over the other. but all i really knos is flowmaster and magnaflow. but i dont know any of magnaflows series.thanks ill look into the 44 series. will i see any difference in power from just the muffler. my piping is all good so im not changing that.
