Default 98 Ram's Useless Sun Visors

Does anyone else have these? For some reason, the left end of the driver sun visor and the right end of the passenger sun visor hit the column only allowing for the visors to basically go down and form a 90 degree angle, completely blocking my view; either I don't use them or I slouch down to seeout of the 4 inch gap between the top of the steering wheel and the bottom of the visor.Anyone else have this problem? Seems like poorly designed visors. This may be confusing so I'll try to post pics of it soon.

I agree with you 100% the sun visors are horrible. The only time i use them is to keep the sun out of my face when its shining through my drive side window.

Yeah, same here, I only really use it to block the sun from the side.

After reading this I went out to look at my visors. Because I never noticed this before. ( I always have driver side down for some reason) I have never put the pass. side down, but, they both have a flexible joint about 3 or 4 inches in from the outer edge. They both go all the way to the WS. I also noticed that you can actually put them about half way down leaving it mounted into the clip and push them towards the mirror. When I did this they barely touch the pillar. Hope this helps! John

Mine work fine, use them all the time. No issues at all. Maybe they were improved in 99?
