Is it normal to here this after the mod? TIA

 

Your hearing it breath I think.. its usually muffled by the incased airbox..the stock box takes in air from the wheel well..so you dont really hear it sucking air...an open breather ( round, free-flo ) is letting it breath. I can hear mine hissing in the cab..LOL at WOT, sounds like its growling right in my dash...

i love the sound, mine does the same thing. sounds good on startup when the engine sucks in a bunch of air. mmm

Wait till it's cold outside and you go to start it up. It's real loud then.

 

Itll wistle real loud when its cold. Mine does it really loud when the a/c is on

 

Mine was real loud and I took apart the TB and cleaned it all up. About 1/2 as loud.

 

mine does that at start up then plains out and goes away but when your on the throttle man does it sound awsome just hearin that motor breath scarin the lil ricers away

 

I used some blue RTV on the 1/2 plastic spacer. I was worried about air getting to the engine under the filter.

But I Love the sound.
