Lets get just a tad bit more info. [8D]
When you say the **** wont work, when you turn it to the AC side, do you feel the **** click into the fan positions? (1,2,3,4)? Have you checked the electrical connection that goes to the back of the AC Compresser? Might just do a basic continuity check with a volt meter to make sure you have good voltage hitting that switch when you turn the ****.
Might let us know what else you have looked at/tried just to give an idea of where to help steer ya. Good luck!
