Where shoud the your engine rpm's run when you are going down the highway on a 01 1500 360? Mine are running about 2100 and this seems kind of high to me.
That depends on how fast "down the highway is", your tire size, and your rear axle ratio. For me (dakota) I'm at around 2000 rpms at 60 mph. I have 17's with low pro's though. Also the 3.92 rear end isn't helping.
