Wellcome to DF,

I Just got my tranny rebuilt over at Transmissions only on El Camino Av. I got the tranny out of truck and took it over to Tom the owner. He had the it torn apart litterealy in 10 mins and showed me what was wrong. Broken band strut, burnt clutches. My tranny was slipping and would not shift into second gear. He did the diagnostic for free. I got a HD planetry up gread and he can also drop in a trans go shift kit. I had it rebuilt for 1800 bucks. It includes a 2 year 24,00 ATRA nation wide warrenty. There $100 dollar off cupon on the site. I higly recomend Trannsmissions only. He remeber my name and that I was a recently layed off student LOL. http://www.sacramentotrans.com/. Give him a call and let him know Chris with the green dodge refered you. BTW tranny runs flawlessly. If want to order one off line alot of the guys on her are running them.

APSprecision.com. I don't get why anyone would go with anything else other than maybe a Dr. Evil. I've heard pretty good things about them too. Seems like a lot of guys get ripped off when they try to go through a local shop and get one that costs almost as much by the time they are done and then still isn't right and not half the quality of a APS one. Plus APS has stock of brand new in the crate Mopar transmissions so they can start with a brand new one. Or you can buy a brand new stock one.

new street strip bands, new clutches, new shift kit, new auxillary tranny cooler, new seals. New fluid might do the trick if your not doing things on the cheap. And you might consider new sensors, but that's the jist of it.
