Default Long Weekend under the truck

Moving to Ohio From NYC soon. The truck is towing the Hyundai (on a trailer) & the bed will be full of furniture. Last thing I need is the truck going down during the trip. Espically through the mountains of PA.

So a Major workup is going to be done.
Engine tune up new plugs, wires, dist, rotor & coil.(From Summit) Maybe 180 thermastat. Clean TB & check Phenum
Drain & replace almost every fluid in truck. From radiator to rear diff.

Tranny fluid & filter with adjustment & the new transgo shift kit from APS. Not even on APS website yet. I figure since the pan will be off.

POR 15 engine paint kit. The Diffs & tranny pan are getting painted while they are off. POR 15 is very good stuff, very hard and clean finish. The kitincludes a cleaner and metal prep. The stuff works well as caliper paint too.

I will put up some pics & a review of the new shift kit.

Talked to APS, Wayne i believe his name was, Just wantedthe basic kit. But Wayne said the new basic kit was better. $129 instead of $94. All the Pros here like the guy & APS& i did want the tranny upgrade. It should be just drop the pan & work on the valve body. Wayne understood I did not want to drop the tranny.
